Kriyexa Commerce

A storefront and the operations console behind it: browse and buy from a product catalogue, then manage the resulting orders, stock levels and sales from the admin side.

Runs in your browser with fictional sample data.

Overview

01The business problem

Growing retailers often run the shop front, order handling and stock in separate tools. Orders are updated by hand, stock counts drift, and nobody has a clear view of what's selling until the end of the month.

02The proposed solution

One application with two faces. Customers search, filter and buy; each order flows straight into an admin console where the team moves it through fulfilment, watches inventory update and sees sales at a glance.

Sample organisation in the demo: Ardent & Pine (fictional).

03Key features

What the demo does.

  • Product catalogue

Search, category filters, price sorting and an in-stock toggle across a realistic catalogue.

  • Product details

Variants, stock availability and quantity selection in a focused detail view.

  • Shopping cart

Add, update and remove items with live totals. Checkout places a demo order — no payment is taken.

  • Order management

Orders listed by status and moved through processing, shipping and delivery.

  • Inventory tracking

Stock levels update as orders are placed, with low-stock warnings and manual adjustments.

  • Sales overview

Revenue, orders, average order value and top products, recalculated as orders come in.

04Technical approach

How it's engineered.

Technology stack

  • Next.js
  • React
  • TypeScript
  • PostgreSQL
  • Payment provider integration
  • Headless CMS

The production stack we would propose. The demo itself is built with Next.js, React and TypeScript and runs entirely in the browser.

  1. 01

    Single source of truth

Storefront and admin share one store (products, inventory, orders). Placing an order reserves stock and creates the order in one action, the way a transactional backend would.

  2. 02

    Local mock data

Products and the initial orders are prepared sample data held in memory for the session. No payment details are collected and nothing leaves your browser.

  3. 03

    Production architecture

A typed API over PostgreSQL with transactional stock reservation, a payment provider integration with webhooks, role-based admin access and a CMS for product content.

Things to try in the demo

The demo is a working front end over prepared sample data. It is not connected to a live AI model or a production backend, and it doesn't collect any information.

Launch live demo
  1. 1Search for “lamp”, open a product and add it to the cart
  2. 2Check out, then switch to Admin to find your order
  3. 3Move the order to Shipped
  4. 4Open Inventory to see stock reduced by your purchase
